Four Benefits of Pets and Our Pet-Friendly Apartment Community

It’s no secret that pets bring joy and laughter to our lives. One study from Indiana University found that watching cat videos boosted positive emotions and reduced stress (yes, dog lovers, you read that correctly). Whether your furry companion has four paws, feathers, or a scaly tail, chances are it knows just what to do to brighten even your hardest days!

At Pacific Palms Apartment Homes in Anaheim, we recognize the benefits of pets and are proud to be pet-friendly. We consider our residents’ furry friends as our own! Here are four reasons why pets and our pet-friendly community are the coolest thing around the block.

Pets Improve Your Health

Who doesn’t love friendly dogs with wet noses or fluffy hamsters with tiny whiskers? In addition to being cute to look at, pets can improve your emotional and physical health . Here’s how:

  • Pets, specifically dogs, promote physical activity.
  • Pets can help lower your blood pressure and blood sugar.
  • Pets can alleviate depression and feelings of loneliness
  • People who have pets are reported to have a lower risk of heart attacks and strokes.

If you are wanting a healthier and happier lifestyle, a pet just might be the perfect companion for you!

We Prioritize Pet Living

The happiness and quality of life of our residents’ pets are one of our main priorities. It is our goal to make your pet-owning experience smooth and enjoyable! To do that, we offer plenty of play space and living space for our residents and their pets. Our courtyards and playground are full of plush grass and benches, and our apartments range from one-, two-, and three-bedrooms to spacious townhomes, providing you and your fluffy friend with the perfect amount of living area.

We Offer Considerate Pet Policies

We all know that Fido needs to take care of business too, but no one in the community wants to smell or step in Fido’s business. Our considerate pet policies require all residents to clean up their pet waste immediately.

We also allow a variety of animals: dogs under the weight of 50 pounds and cats are welcome at our community. Please note that we have breed restrictions due to size and behavior traits. Hamsters, guinea pigs, birds, reptiles, or any other small pets must be caged and kept in a sanitary condition. If you would like additional pets or have questions about our breed restrictions, please call our management team .

Anaheim Is a Puppy’s Playground

Our pristine location offers a variety of nearby parks that you and your pup (or bird, cat, bunny, etc.) can visit for an adventurous outing. Haster Basin Recreational Park is our top recommendation for all types of animals. This beautiful community property is equipped with jogging trails, soccer fields, exercise stations, and lakeside picnic shelters. Take your pet and have a puptastic time!

We love our residents’ pets and look forward to interacting with yours! Pets do so much for us, including improving our health, and that is why we understand the importance of pet-friendly communities. Pacific Palms is the perfect place for you and your fluffy companion because we prioritize pet living, offer considerate pet policies, and are conveniently located near spacious parks. There truly isn’t a better place, and we can’t wait to meet your furry friend!
