We Preserve Water
Anaheim is prone to droughts, so we are careful not to waste water. One way we do this is by having drought-tolerant landscaping. We’ve planted desert plants that don’t require a lot of water throughout our property. We also have a drip irrigation system that efficiently distributes water throughout the property without wasting it.
Next, we preserve water with our low-flow toilets . Did you know that most toilets use 3.5 gallons of water every time they flush? At Pacific Palms Apartment Homes, our toilets use 20 percent less water. Each low-flow toilet saves up to 13,000 gallons of water per year!
We Reduce Paper and Plastic
To help reduce littered materials, we offer all of our payment processes, service requests, communications, and notices online. This is convenient for our residents and eliminates the need for unnecessary paper waste.

We Encourage Recycling
One of the best ways that we promote a sustainable lifestyle is by valuing recycling. We have recycling bins in our office, and we encourage all residents to recycle as well. Here are a few items that are safe to recycle:
- Plastic bottles and containers
- Empty cans
- Paper
- Flattened cardboard
While recycling is a great way to live green, it is important to do it the right way. Never recycle food, liquid, plastic bags, plastic wrap, or cups with wax or plastic coating. If you are unsure of whether an item can be recycled or not, do your research before recycling it.

Organic waste recycling will be coming soon to our local community, and we can’t wait to participate! This initiative will help keep millions of pounds of food waste out of landfills and turn them into compost and renewable natural gas.
